It’s unofficially my FAVORITE season (sorry for being basic). I adore fall and last year, Jeffrey and I fall fested all over the place, so I thought I’d share some of our collective wisdom on the places that are fun, festive, and fritterlicious. Hopefully this gives you some fun options for fall festivities! Patterson Fruit Farm […]

Change

verb \ˈchānj\

Simple Definition of change
  • to become different
  • to make (someone or something) different
  • to become something else

It only makes sense that my first entry address the inspiration for this blog – Change. They say that the only thing you can count on in this life is change. Take a look at the definition. Isn’t that what we do every second of our lives? Even as we are conceived in our mother’s wombs, we are changing into the physical beings who will emerge to begin the long process of growing – of learning – of change. Some people thrive on it. Some people hate it. Most people fear it to some extent, this thing called change that we can’t get away from.

A few years ago when I took the first step to establish this blog, so much was changing in my life I was having a very difficult time coping with it. Though I had thought I was the champion of successfully navigating and overcoming the twists and turns in life, I had hit my limit and discovered just how wrong I was. I was at the end of what I thought I could handle. Seriously… at the end. I was tired. I was lonely. I was afraid. All the time. Then one day a light went on. Either I was going to have to change or things wouldn’t end well for me.

And thus it began. My journey of change

  • to become different
  • to make (someone or something) different
  • to become something else

And now I’m ready to start writing. Find out a little more before we begin by clicking here.
